Cyane Robinson made the trip over to Manchester hoping to improve on her seasons best set last week in Loughborough. After a great start to the cross country season – Cyane had a major set back and ended up with a stress fracture in March and ended up in a boot for almost 2 months. Only back training fully for a few months now Cyane has worked really hard to get back to full fitness and last night proved the hard work and patience is paying of. A new personal best of 2.13 now puts us in good stead to chase the 2.10 mark by the end of the season. Another stint of training before the next race and I think we will be pretty close.
Also a big well done to Coach Hayes who set another personal best in the 1500m knocking 3 seconds of the time he ran in Loughborough last week.
